I believe God puts people on our way for a purpose. The pretty women next to me are my sistas. God gave us the chance to meet here in Canada and even become mothers together (@andreagoetam). We’ve laughed and cried together. As time passes, I’ve learned the importance of each of them in my life and to enjoy the blessings they bring to my family. I invite you to embrace the love of your friends in this new adventure called “Motherhood”. So, Why do you need your friends during motherhood? 1. Your friends mean rest: believe it or not, those 10 minutes they take your baby away to play feel like a one week vacation in The Riviera Maya! Oh yeah, Mommy also gets tire and her friends get her back. Having my sistas next to me help me recharge batteries when I am tired… so thank you sistas!!!
2. True friends are willing to push your buttons to ensure you accomplish your goals. Embrace-it; this brand, was born because I wanted to be a support for you :) and my friends make sure I keep my promise to you; one of them helps me take the pictures you see in my posts, another one edits the content I write (English is not my first language) and some others help me to do my hair and make up… All that to ensure I keep up with my goals as professional but most importantly, to be able to be your support. :)
3. The one with babies like @andrea, understands what you are going through: you can talk and talk and talk about all the mess you are going through and your friend (the mom one) will always “nod” lol… she nods because she is going through the same thing! With your friends, you get to understand that your are not alone in this beautiful but crazy adventure called motherhood. That great friend, helps you understand that it is normal to feel the way you feel :) and that you should be proud to be called “Mommy”. There are countless things I can say but let’s leave it there.. All I can say now is thank you sisters!!!
Love, Adi :)
